Ryan Madson earned the save for the Phillies, bringing his saves up to 9.

In addition to the 6 runs, the Phillies put up 14 hits and committed no errors. Jimmy Rollins led the Phillies in hitting with 3 hits, followed by Paul Bako’s 2 hits, and Ryan Howard with 2. Chase Utley had a tough day at the plate, leaving 6 runners on base. Ryan Braun had the most hits for the Brewers (3), followed by Alcides Escobar (2), and Corey Hart (2). Casey McGehee could not get much going at the plate as he left 5 runners on base. The Brewers mustered 5 runs, 10 hits and one error.

The win puts the Phillies at a record of 90-65, at the top of their division, while the loss brings the Brewers to 77-79, (13 games behind the division leader).
